El Redentor (released in the U.S. in 1965 as "The Redeemer"), the 1959 Joseph Breen & Fernando Palacios Spanish/U.S. historical religious melodrama ("All the armies that ever marched and all the navies that ever were built, and all the kings that ever reigned - have not affected the life of man as powerfully as has this ONE SOLITARY LIFE.") starring Luis Alvarez (as Jesus Christ), Maruchi Fresno (as the Virgin Mary), Manuel Monroy (as Judas), Antonio Vilar (oddly, he plays both Pontius Pilate and Saint Peter) and narrated in in Spanish by Sebastian Cabot and in English by Macdonald Carey
