An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Thou Shalt Not, the 1919 Charles Brabin silent romantic love triangle melodrama ("The story of a girl who came back"; about a young country girl who runs off with a man, and the local minister finds her and brings her back, but the church folk refuse to accept her because she is a "fallen" woman, and the minister leaves town with her) starring Evelyn Nesbit, Ned Burton, Florida Kingsley, Gladden James, and Crauford Kent. Note that Evelyn Nesbit was the woman at the center of the murder of architect Stanford White (her husband murdered White, who Nesbit was having an affair with, and because his family was rich and powerful, he was put in a mental institution for a short while and released). After the murder, and the huge publicity it received, Nesbit dropped her husband's name and made a series of movies, and most of them were like this one where she played a fallen woman of one sort or another! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There is tiny paper loss in each blank corner and a tear in the center of the bottom border. Someone wrote "WEDNESDAY" in the bottom center of the image. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
