She came along at a perfect time, because Deanna Durbin was outgrowing her adolescent roles at Universal, and Gloria Jean replaced her in the same sorts of movies. She had a lot of popularity throughout the 1940s, but her career wound down in the late 1940s, and she mostly retired to raise a family. Some of her movies include: Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, The Under-Pup, and Mister Big. She passed away in 2018 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this lot consists of an index card and a magazine page, both of which were sent to our consignor by Gloria Jean after he wrote her a nice fan letter.
