Devil-May-Care, the 1929 Sidney Franklin historical France military romantic war musical ("Based on the French Drama 'La Bataille Des Dames' by Eugene Scribe and Ernest Legouve"; "A Metro Goldwyn-Mayer Musical Romance"; the story follows one of Napoleon's men who escapes execution and falls in love with a woman who is in the room he hides in; she turns him in to the authorities, but he escapes again and finds her, and this time she has a change of heart and loves him back) starring Ramon Novarro, Dorothy Jordan, Marion Harris, John Miljan, and William Humphrey (as Napoleon Bonaparte)
