An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 22 1/2" x 35" [57 x 89 cm]) (Learn More) The Count, the 1916 Charlie Chaplin silent slapstick romantic comedy short (about the Tramp getting a job working for a count, but then he irons his trousers and burns them and is fired; he finds an invitation to a party for the count, and he goes to the party and impersonates the count, but then the real count shows up) starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin), Edna Purviance, Eric Campbell, Albert Austin, Henry Bergman, and Leo White (in the title role as Count Broko) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bjornberg Important Added Info: Note that any first release movie paper from any country for this film is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a U.S. lobby card and one window card (which sold for $4,500!) and a Danish program from this first release of this movie, but no posters whatsoever until we were consigned this 1920s Swedish re-release poster with completely different art! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has the most minor fold and border wear and a few tiny creases at the crossfold. There are some partial, thin horizontal creases in Chaplin's art (see our image). The very rare poster is otherwise in nice condition and it displays well! Learn More about condition grades
