The Empire Strikes Back (now known as "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back"), the classic 1980 Irvin Kershner science fiction (sci-fi) outer space action adventure sequel ("The Star Wars Saga Continues"; "Story by George Lucas") starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse ("as Darth Vader"), Kenny Baker ("as R2-D2"), Peter Mayhew ("as Chewbacca"), Frank Oz ("as Yoda"), Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi), Jeremy Bulloch (as Boba Fett), and John Hollis (as Lobot)

Important Added Info: Note that this patch was given only to cast and crew members during the production of this movie! This item comes to us with great provenance. It belonged to Allan Trosclair, who was the head of security for Lucas from 1981 to 1985. Trosclair kept some souvenirs of his time working for Lucas until a short while ago, when he sold this item and several others to a memorabilia store in San Francisco, and the store owner consigned them to this auction.

UPDATED 12/11/2015: Note that Star Wars expert Steve Sansweet tells us that this patch was issued to the Norwegian film unit which was filming Empire Strikes Back!
