An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Tippi Hedren (born Nathalie Kay Hedren) is an actress from the 1950s to the present. She is best remembered for starring in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and Marnie. She is also the mother of actress Melanie Griffith. In 1971, she was making a movie that involved a lion, and she learned of their poor treatment, which began her devotion to wild animals. In 1981, she spent $17 million to film the movie "Roar", about the treatment of big cats, and it only took in $2 million at the box office. She has devoted all the years since to helping wild animals. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 92! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Tippi Hedren! Our consignor obtained this autograph many years ago in a group of purchases, and they do not remember anymore about it than that, except that they felt it was authentic at that time, and so do we.
