A picture... unforgettable in its greatness!"; "Sensational in it's dramatic impact!"; "From a Story by Rowland Brown") starring James Cagney (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Rocky Sullivan), Pat O'Brien (as Father Jerry Connolly), The Dead End Kids (Leo Gorcey [as Bim], Billy Halop [as Soapy], Huntz Hall [as Crab], Bobby Jordan, Gabriel Dell, Bernard Punsly), Humphrey Bogart (as James Frazier), Ann Sheridan (as Laury Ferguson), George Bancroft, and Frankie Burke (as the young Rocky; he was an unknown 17 year-old newsboy when he was discovered to play the young James Cagney, because he had an uncanny resemblance to young James Cagney!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook, and several two-page interior spreads, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning! Condition: fair, WITH CUTS. The pressbook was folded in half and there are many creases and scuffs around the edges and along the fold on the covers. There is an interior page that has approximately one-third cut out, another interior page with two small cuts, and a third interior page with a slightly larger cut. So three of the interior pages are cut. There was a tipped-in herald that was attached to the page facing the inside back cover, and that herald was removed (see our images). Obviously, one would prefer finding an uncut example of this pressbook, but that would be extremely difficult to do! Learn More about condition grades
