An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Terror of Bar X, the 1927 Scott Pembroke (billed as "Percy Pembroke") silent romantic cowboy western ("Produced by Bob Custer Productions, Inc., Under the personal supervision of Jesse J. Goldburg"; the movie was one of many produced by Joseph P. Kennedy; about a cowboy who helps his girlfriend's father save his ranch because he can't pay a loan by borrowing money to lend the father, but he is accused of stealing the money, and at the end, he proves that the man who lent the father the money was the actual thief!) starring Bob Custer, Ruby Blaine (a real-life female wrestling champion turned actress!), William Rhine, Roy Bassett, and Jack Castle. Note that producer Joseph P. Kennedy was of course the father of Joe, John, Bobby, and Teddy Kennedy, and had a well publicized love affair with Gloria Swanson for many years! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Farrah Condition: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. There were creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss in the left half of the top two foldlines and in the vertical foldline between the top and bottom crossfolds, and much less wear on the other foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, smudges, tape stains, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster, but almost entirely in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was really expertly backed, and looks incredible! Learn More about condition grades
