Ulmer romantic gangster film noir (an incredibly dark and depressing movie about a man who owns a cafe in the desert, which he runs with his pretty daughter; he is an escaped convict, and the owner of a rival cafe, who is a gangster called "The Ghost", blackmails the convict into working for him, and the daughter, not knowing her father is an escaped convict, has her boyfriend go to the gangster's place, which he wrecks, and the gangster, thinking it was the father, goes to him and kills him right in front of his daughter, and that's just part of this brutal movie!) starring Ricardo Cortez, Jean Parker, Emmett Lynn, William Marshall, and Rose Anne Stevens NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! The new owner of this card will find it hard to believe that the card was not recently created, but we assure you it is 100% original from 1942, even though it has survived so amazingly well!
