eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result #142 TIGER'S CUB LC#3 '20 Pearl White Date Sold 9/10/2002Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Tiger's Cub, the 1920 Charles Giblyn Alaska adventure crime melodrama ("from the Great Stage Success by George Goodchild") starring Pearl White (in the title role as Tiger's Cub), Thomas Carrigan, Jack Baston, John Davidson, and Frank Evans. Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers and alcohol after she was injured on the set of The Perils of Pauline. She retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #3 in the title of this sale is not the number of the lobby card (whenever we know the number of a lobby card we list it for those of you who know which scenes you are looking for). In this case, the cards from this particular set were un-numbered, but because we are selling more than one card from this set this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate between the sales, and we did so by marking them "#2, #3, etc. (Note that we do not use #1, because this is commonly used to signify the title card). Condition: fine. There are minor creases and smudges around the borders. There is a 1/2" tear in the middle of the bottom blank border. Learn More about condition grades
