Brugge: Concerts of Carillon, the 1920s Belgian railroad train travel poster encouraging people to visit the Belgium city of Bruges to enjoy the carillon music at the Belfry of Bruges. A carillon is a musical instrument typically housed in the bell tower (belfry) of a church or municipal building. The carillon in the Belfry of Bruges currently consists of 47 bells and has existed since the 16th century. Note that this poster was created by the Belgian State Railways (Belgische Staatsspoorwegen or Chemins de fer de l'Etat Belge), which was the original state-owned railway of Belgium and operated until 1926.
