A Linenbacked French Special Poster (measures 33 1/4" x 45 1/4" [84 x 115 cm]) (Learn More) Exposition Universelle et Internationale (known in English as "Brussels International 1910"), the 1910 Belgian World's Fair which was held from April to November in Brussels, Belgium. This was just thirteen years after the previous Brussels World's Fair, and it received 13 million visitors. Artist: Henri Bellery-Desfontaines Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfold and a second horizontal fold 1" below the regular one, with separation and a tear in that second fold, mostly in the background area at the center. It had darkening and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
