Wells' Fantastic Sensation"; "Screen play by R.C. Sheriff"; based on the novel by H.G. Wells; about a man who invents a potion that makes him invisible, but it also makes him go insane) starring Gloria Stuart, Claude Rains (in the title role as the Invisible Man), William Harrigan, Dudley Digges, Una O'Connor, Henry Travers, Forrester Harvey, and E.E. Clive NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that any posters from this 1947 Realart re-release of this classic Universal horror movie are extremely rare. We have never before auctioned a half-sheet from this movie before we were consigned this poster! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has very light rippling due to exposure to moisture but only some minimal slight discoloration in portions of the blank borders. It was folded twice vertically at left and right an extra time and it has a tiny border tear at upper left and center right (covered by tape at upper left and there is a tape stain around the tiny tear at right). It has a few faint scuff marks and light creases. The ultra-rare poster still has great color and is otherwise "all there" and would make an excellent candidate for restoration. It is likely that most or all of the very light rippling would be removed during the paperbacking process and after proper restoration it would look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
