An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 46 3/4" x 63" [119 x 160 cm]) (Learn More) Service de Nuit (literally translates to "Night Service"), the 1932 Henri Fescourt French servant family relationship romantic comedy (based on the play by Max Ferner; about a married older man who works night in a hotel, and he pays for singing lessons for a pretty young girl, and keeps it from his wife, and he has romantic aspirations, but the girl falls in love with the old man's son!) starring Marcel Barencey (billed as "Barency"), Robert Darthez, Paulette Duvernet, Gaston Dupray, Ketty Pierson, Mylo D'Arcylle, Anna Lefeuvrier, and Fred Marche. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! We previously auctioned a French two-panel poster with a completely different image from this, and no other French posters at all. Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Condition: good. The poster is fragile and has tiny tears and tiny paper loss on parts of most of the folds. However, it is "mostly all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
