Date Sold 11/26/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Lobby Cards (Learn More) Twin Kiddies, the 1917 Henry King silent juvenile mining family separated twins comedy melodrama (about separated twins and one lives with a rich man and is very ill tempered, and one lives with a poor family but is very nicely mannered; the twins accidentally change houses and the bad tempered daughter learns how to love and become a wonderful little girl like her sister while living with the poor family!) starring Marie Osborne (billed as "Baby Marie Osborne"; in the title role as Bessie Hunt/Fay Van Loan), Henry King, Ruth Lackaye, Daniel Gilfether, R. Henry Frey, and Loretta Beecker NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned these 8x10 lobby cards! Note also that, in the early days of movie making, when lobby cards were first made (around 1915), studios would issue sets of the cards in two sizes; the regular 11" x 14" size, and a smaller 8" x 10" size. The cards were identical in every way except for the different size. This practice continued through the early 1920s, at which point the studios abandoned the smaller lobby cards, likely because theaters either ordered 11" x 14" lobby cards or 8" x 10" stills, and did not order enough of the 8" x 10" lobby cards to justify them continuing to make them. Condition: very good. The card pictured at lower right has some discoloration that affects a portion of the woman's face (see our images). The other cards have a few tiny border defects but are otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
