The company was originally known as Sonora Phonograph, then Sonora Electrical Phono, Co. before renaming to Sonora Radio and Television Corporation in the late 1930s. They also exported radios and TVs to France from the 1930s to the 1950s. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had some creases in the upper left and some smudges and scuffs scattered in the yellow background areas and in the borders. The bottom blank border has tiny brown stains scattered across it. They are not in the excess linen, so it seems likely they were in the poster prior to being backed. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
