Doctors beware!"; one of the very popular series of movies featuring this character and his crusty old mentor, Dr. Gillespie; this was a very odd entry in the series, dealing with a brain operation on a mental patient; MGM was likely worried about how that would go over with audiences, and they used very deceptive advertising of art of a sexy redhead with "DANGER! DOCTORS BEWARE!" next to her, even though the only sexy female in the movie was Laraine Day, Kildare's longtime nurse) starring Lew Ayres (in the title role as Doctor James Kildare), Lionel Barrymore (as Dr. Gillespie), Laraine Day, Shepperd Strudwick, Samuel S. Hinds, Emma Dunn, and Nat Pendleton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good.
