And I mean it!'"; "There never was a women like Gilda!") starring Rita Hayworth (in the title role "as Gilda"), Glenn Ford, George Macready, Joseph Calleia, Steven Geray, Joe Sawyer, Ludwig Donath, Robert Scott, and Gerald Mohr. Note that the sheath dress that Rita Hayworth wears in the movie (designed by Jean Louis) certainly contributed greatly to the popularity of this movie! Artist: Jano Important Added Info: Note that a theater sometime in the mid-1970s used this 1966 Gilda re-release poster for a showing of the movie "Polvo Eres" starring Nadiuska and Isabel Garces, and they added snipes and painted over the title (see below). Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: poor to fair. The poster was used for a mid-1970s showing of another movie (see above). It has had the title over-painted with another movie's title (and the paint has surely bonded in with the poster) and snipes were glued at upper and lower right which ripple and discolor the poster somewhat.
