An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Live and Let Die, the 1973 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller (based on the novel by Ian Fleming; featuring the title song written by Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney, and performed by Wings) starring Roger Moore ("as James Bond"), Yaphet Kotto, Jane Seymour (as Solitaire), Clifton James (as Sheriff J.W. Pepper), Julius Harris (as Tee Hee the henchman), Geoffrey Holder (as Baron Samedi), Gloria Hendry (as Rosie), David Hedison (as Felix Leiter), and Madeline Smith NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet was marked "EAST HEMI" which means it was printed for use in one half of the world (there were also posters stamped "WEST HEMI" for use in the other half of the world!). THIS WAS DUE TO THE TWO PRODUCERS (Saltzman and Broccoli) BEING UNABLE TO AGREE ON WHO SHOULD GET FIRST BILLING! They resolved this by having posters for half of the world having one of their names first, and on the other half of the world, they reversed it! Also, this poster does not feature the Transamerica logo under United Artists, but other posters do have this logo. No one (including every Bond expert we contacted) is 100% sure what this means. Some people say it is surely a 1973 first release, and some say it was made at the time that the 1980 re-releases were made of the 1960s movies. But if so, it is still 30+ years old, and it is definitely NOT any sort of "brand new" poster! We auction lots and lots of posters that never made it to a theater and sat in a poster exchange for many years (or were purchased by a dealer from an exchange right when the movie came out), and these LOOK "brand new", but that is just because they were never used, and stored well. So I assure you it is a vintage poster. But given that I can't say for 100% that it is from 1973. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
