Infant Feeding Option for HIV +VE Mothers for the First Six Months, the 2000s African poster designed to be displayed in Kenya, to educate mothers with HIV/AIDS on how to safely feed their infants. Note that when AIDS gripped the world in 1981, local authorities, healthcare providers and governments quickly created health posters as a way to inform people about the new disease. These public health campaigns continue to this day, and the posters show the different tactics, images (some quite provocative) and messages used by various countries and health agencies in their attempts to educate people about the AIDS/HIV threat.
