He is best remembered for endless appearances on just about every TV series of the 1960s, including "The Andy Griffith Show". Some of his movies include: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (as Nosey), Television Spy, Queen of the Mob, The Invisible Woman, The Mating Game, and The Carpetbaggers. He passed away in 2007 at the age of 102. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Charles Lane! It is accompanied by a letter from Mr. Lane to Ken Jones that is also signed. Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star. Condition: very good.
