Holmes vs Spinks, the 1985 sports boxing herald ("Dynamic Duo presents History a September to Remember"; "Larry Holmes goes for his 49th consecutive Heavyweight win to tie Marciano's record set 30 years ago today!"; "Michael Spinks goes for the Heavyweight Championship never won by a Light Heavyweight challenger."; "World Heavyweight Championship 15 rounds"; "Plus two additional world title fights!") promoting the Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks world heavyweight title championship fight that was held on Saturday, September 21st at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Spinks won by unanimous decision in round 15 becoming the first ever light-heavyweight champion to win the world heavyweight title. Note that this flyer features art of Holmes and Spinks in front of Rocky Marciano.
