The Oscar, the 1966 Russell Rouse Los Angeles Hollywood California movie acting award melodrama ("This is the story of the dreamers and the schemers... The hustlers and the hopefuls... The free-loaders and the phonies... The fakers and the famous... All fighting for the highest possible award!"; "The breath-taking race for Hollywood's highest award!"; "Based on the novel by Richard Sale"; about cutthroat actors competing for a Best Actor Academy Award; a curious footnote is that the screenplay was co-written by famous science fiction [sci-fi] writer Harlan Ellison) starring Stephen Boyd, Elke Sommer, Milton Berle, Eleanor Parker, Joseph Cotten, Jill St. John, Tony Bennett (billed as "introducing Tony Bennett as Hymie Kelly"), Edie Adams and Ernest Borgnine

Artist: Howard Terpning
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "FOREIGN" which means it was printed for use outside the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "DOMESTIC" for use within the United States). Often, the "FOREIGN" posters would have a different (sometimes racier) image than that for the one used in the United States. Also note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was tri-folded only. It has slightly darkened along those folds but is otherwise in generally nice condition (see our image).
