An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Rocky Rhodes, the 1934 Alfred Raboch cowboy western ("Buck Jones latest and greatest action feature!"; "Another smashing story by W.C. Tuttle") starring Buck Jones (in the title role as Rocky Rhodes), Sheila Terry, Stanley Fields, Walter Miller, Monte Montague, Bud Osborne, Alfred P. James, and Jack Rockwell. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 26 years ago, when it sold for $500! Condition: very good to fine.
