Artist: Joseph Smith Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D posters and 2D posters (the 2-D posters were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Note that there are two different variations of this poster. One of them has the "3-D" at top left colored in yellow, and also all of the letters of the title. The other is exactly the same as that poster, but the yellow is missing from the letters (and perhaps from the entire poster). Otherwise, the posters are exactly the same, including the NSS information at bottom. My personal belief is that there were two different print runs of this poster, and that one print run did not use the yellow, for unknown reasons (perhaps the answer could be as simple as them running out of yellow ink!). Please be aware of these two variations, and only bid on this poster if you wish to own this variation. If anyone knows more about this odd printing situation, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. There was a 1" tear in the left of the bottom border and some pinholes around the edges of the poster. The person who owned this poster had it dry-mounted onto a heavy board. The dry-mounting does not appear to have harmed the poster in any way, and it displays great. One could have a professional remove the poster from the board and have it linenbacked, or one could leave it just as it is. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT IT HAS BEEN DRY-MOUNTED ONTO A HEAVY BOARD (which also means that it will need to be shipped in a very large flat package, as it absolutely cannot be rolled).
