Peace on Earth Navy, the 1940s to 1960s U.S. World War II (WWII) poster featuring art of an American flag over the ocean with a bright star in the night sky. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that a sharp-eyed collector noticed that the flag on this poster appears to show the 50 star layout which would date it as 1960 or later. We have seen later re-prints of this poster that date from the 1970s. However, based on paper and printing, the poster offered here seems to be from the 1940s. Please only bid if you can accept the uncertainty regarding the date of this poster.

Condition: good. The poster has several significant tears of varying lengths around the edges (some are repaired with tape from the back and front and some are relatively large along portions of the upper edge). Certainly the poster could be restored and linenbacked and it would look great, but please bear in mind its defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid.
