An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Teaser Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Laure (released in some English-speaking countries as "Forever Emanuelle"), the 1976 Emmanuelle Arsan, Roberto D'Ettorre Piazzoli & Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane (billed collectively as "John O. Hellman") Italian sexploitation romantic melodrama starring Emanuelle Arsan, Al Cliver, Orsa Maria Guerrini, Annie Belle (in the title role as Laure/Emanuelle), Pierre Haudebourg, and Michele Starck. Note that Emmanuelle Arsan was a French novelist of Thai origin, best known for the novel featuring the fictional character Emmanuelle. It was later claimed that the real author of the book was her husband, French diplomat Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane. Also, after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series. Note that this is a teaser Japanese B2 poster (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector, and that collection includes lots of folded one-sheets, but also rolled one-sheets, special posters, and some other posters as well. This month there are 78 different rolled posters (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare rolled posters to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster has not been folded but it was lightly and partially folded back at one time and it has some creases along areas where folds are usually present (see our image) and there are some other creases scattered in various areas.
