Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct).

Important Added Info: Note that lobby cards from this 1944 re-release of "Snow White" are extremely rare, likely far more rare than those from the first release (there was also a 1951 re-release, and those cards are also quite rare). One would surely think that far fewer theaters showed this movie in 1943 than showed it in 1937, which would likely help account for the rarity. Also note that the scenes from 1944 include some different ones from those of 1937, including this card of the dwarfs gathering around Grumpy. Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. The idea for this auction began when we were consigned a remarkable collection of original 1940s Walt Disney pressbooks, mini lobby cards, and standees (and almost all of those are extremely rare ones that are hardly ever auctioned, and they almost all are in really nice condition).
