An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Kraftbacked Chapter #14 ("The Secret in the Flame") One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 26" x 39 1/2") (Learn More)

Hurricane Hutch, the 1921 George B. Seitz silent crime adventure serial starring Charles Hutchison ("The Thrill-a-Minute Stunt King"; in the title role as Larry 'Hutch' Hutchdale; Hutchinson played the character "Hurricane Hutch" in a series of silent serials, and this was the first in the series), Warner Oland, Lucy Fox, Diana Deer, Ann Hastings, and Harry Semels. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: This poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Also note that this one-sheet has been trimmed and measures 26" x 39 1/2". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41".

Condition: fair to good. it appears some small portions of the blank borders were trimmed either before or after kraftbacking, but only blank paper was lost, and the poster now measures 26" x 39 1/2"; there are nail holes evenly spaced around the edges of the border and evenly spaced around the edges of the border of the image; there are around 15 other nail holes scattered throughout the image. Some are enlarged from rough removal. There is little paper loss in the image of either star, except there is paper loss at the top of the image in the woman's shoulder and a thin line of paper loss in the man's hair; there are light stains throughout the poster, but much more so around the edges of the poster. While this poster has clear condition problems, it is mostly all there, and the nail holes are mostly in unimportant parts of the poster. A talented restorer can surely remove the poster from the kraft backing, remove much of the stains through chemical means, and repair the many holes, and the result will be a poster that looks great but does not have a lot of paint on it!
