An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Golden Fleecing, the 1940 Leslie Fenton romantic crime screwball comedy ("One kiss and a timid soul becomes a holy terror!"; about a mild-mannered insurance salesman who sells a life insurance policy to a man and then discovers he is a gangster whose friends want to kill him, and he has to try to help keep the man alive) starring Lew Ayres, Rita Johnson, Lloyd Nolan, Virginia Grey, Leon Errol, Nat Pendleton, and Ralph Byrd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fair to good. There is damage in the top right corner of the slide, but it is only in the border and background, and similar damage in the bottom of the slide below the playdates area. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
