An Undated (probably 1940s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Tillie's Punctured Romance, the 1914 Mack Sennett silent romantic slapstick comedy ("All-star cast in 6 reels"; "The film production that is breaking all records"; "6 reels of real comedy"; "Produced by Mack Sennett, director of Keystone Films") starring Marie Dressler (billed as "America's foremost comedienne"; in the title role as Tillie), Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin), Mabel Normand, Charles Bennett, Charley Chase, Chester Conklin, Ford Sterling, Edgar Kennedy, Eddie Sutherland, Slim Summerville, Charlie Murray, Hank Mann, Mack Swain, and The Keystone Cops! Note that this was Charlie Chaplin's first full-length movie, made super early in his career (he was 2nd billed). After this, he returned to comedy shorts, and it would be several years before he would appear in another feature. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and there was a light second vertical foldline 3" to the left of the regular one. There were some tiny creases and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
