An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (measures approximately 39" x 55") (Learn More) La Terra Trema: Episodio del Mare (released in the U.S. in 1957 as "La Terra Trema"), the 1948 Luchino Visconti Italian sailing sailor fishing fisherman ocean melodrama narrated by Luchino Visconti, Antonio Pietrangeli, and Antonio Arcidiacono. Note that this film was first shown at the Venice Film Festival in 1948, before receiving a wider Italian release in 1949. All known Italian posters are for the 1949 wide release (it is quite likely that if a poster was created for the 1948 film festival release, it was one of a kind, and not studio issued, and would not have survived). The poster had a few very tiny holes in some foldlines, and some minor other border wear. There were the most minor of border defects.
