An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) The Trip, the 1967 Roger Corman LSD acid drug thriller ("A Lovely Sort of Death"; "In Psychedelic COLOR"; "Written by Jack Nicholson"; about a commercial director who is going through a bitter divorce, so he decides to go on an LSD trip...) starring Peter Fonda, Susan Strasberg, Dennis Hopper, Bruce Dern, and Salli Sachse. Note that the poster designer created a wacky tagline "A Lovely Sort of Death", just so the L, S, and D at the start of each word could be highlighted in a different color, so that the "LSD" would be apparent on the poster, and yet would hopefully keep them out of trouble from censors! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical foldline) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fine. there is extremely tiny separation at the left ends of the top and bottom foldlines; there are very minor creases along the foldlines. The poster has survived in about as good condition as one could hope, and it has no vertical fold! I would think it must be one of the very finest surviving examples of this poster!
