Good Workmanship Can Take It!, the 1940s U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Here are two photographs of one of our propellers on a Hudson which was subjected to a ground attack with incendiary. The large splash in the foreground is a burn approximately 3/16 inch deep in the barrel parting line - no crack being discernible. The hole in the blade is a clean one which will be reamed and slightly dished."; "Service report from Ted C. Fisher, Cairo, Egypt") encouraging quality work, and featuring images of a damaged-but-still-functional airplane propeller.
