A Linenbacked French Art Exhibition Poster (measures 15 3/4" x 23 3/4" [40 x 60 cm]) (Learn More) Les Fleurs Dans La Maison (literally translates to "Flowers in the House"), the 1953 French exhibition featuring home decorators and florists which was held from April 18th to the 27th at the Galerie La Boetie in Paris. This poster features art of a large yellow tulip in a house by R. Dumoulin Artist: R. Dumoulin Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a pinhole in each corner and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
