Gasnier & William Schorr post World War I (WWI) Soviet Russia anti-religion doctor medical romantic love triangle melodrama ("Glorified by spectacular episodes from the Cecil B. DeMille epic, 'The Ten Commandments'"; a wild story of a medical student in Soviet Russia who studies under a brilliant surgeon who advocates free love; the student's wife does not go along, which causes the student to have an affair with the surgeon's beautiful assistant, whom the surgeon has also been having an affair with, and when the surgeon discovers his student's affair, he shoots them both, killing his assistant, and wounding his student; he escapes unseen, but returns to save the student's life in an operation, and afterwards confesses and is arrested!) starring Sari Maritza, Gene Raymond, Marguerite Churchill, Irving Pichel, and Harry Beresford. Note that there is a long sequence within the movie where an old priest tells the story of Moses and The Ten Commandments to the surgeon and his student, warning them of their behavior, and instead, they have the priest arrested!
