An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Lady Godiva (released in other English-speaking countries as "Lady Godiva of Coventry"), the 1955 Arthur Lubin historical re-telling of the classic fable ("The first startling story of the world's most famous ride!"; about a Saxon English lady, who, as punishment for her militant views, is forced to ride through her town on a horse completely naked!; this movie gives a fictional account of what led up to that famous ride; unfortunately, due to the standards of 1955, Maureen O'Hara is given so much hair as to be basically clothed!) starring Maureen O'Hara (in the title role as Lady Godiva), George Nader, Victor McLaglen, Rex Reason, Torin Thatcher, Eduard Franz, and Arthur Shields NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There are pencil marks in the credits area at lower left and there is some staining throughout the card (more so around the edges). There is a slightly diagonal crease at left and there are a few pin holes and creases around the edges of the card. There is writing on the back of the card, but it does not appear to have any effect on the front.
