Date Sold 3/9/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Jailhouse Rock, the classic 1957 Richard Thorpe rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) crime prison romantic musical ("His first big dramatic singing role!"; about a young man who is sent to prison for manslaughter, and while there he is helped to become a singer/musician by an older convict, and after he is released, he becomes a major rock star!) starring Elvis Presley ("At His Greatest"), Judy Tyler (who sadly died in an auto accident before the release of the film), Mickey Shaughnessy, Dean Jones, Jennifer Holden, and Anne Neyland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. Some of the stills have a few areas of uneven discoloration (more so around the edges) and some have a few faint creases or scuffs. The stills pictured third and fourth at right and the one pictured at lower left have a slight scratch at upper left with some surface paper loss. Overall, the set is in pretty nice condition.
