While we once owned this item, we did not auction it through eMoviePoster.com (which is why no price or date is listed) nor do we have it available for purchase. The Big Bird Cage, the 1972 Jack Hill sexploitation movie ("Women so hot with desire they melt the chains that enslave them!"; "Lashed to a terrible machine that maims tender young bodies and cripples innocent young minds."; "Men who are only half men and women who are more than all woman"; "written and directed by Jack Hill"; produced by Roger Corman) starring Pam Grier, Anitra Ford, Candice Roman, Carol Speed, and Sid Haig. Note that, while not a true sequel, this film shares many similarities (and even some cast members) with Jack Hill's 1971 film "The Big Doll House". That film has sometimes incorrectly been identified as being the same movie as "Women in Cages", but it is not! After classic B-movie director Jack Hill finished making "The Big Doll House", the lead actresses were hired to play in a very similar movie ("Women in Cages") that was released the same year (basically an attempt to cash in on the better movie's success). These similarities have resulted in the two movies being confused, but we are glad for the chance to set the record straight! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
