An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Rose Marie, the classic 1936 W.S. Van Dyke Royal Canadian Mounted Police Mountie romantic northern-western musical ("Singing sweethearts back again!") starring Jeanette MacDonald (in the title role as Rose Marie), Nelson Eddy, Reginald Owen, Allan Jones, James Stewart (in his second credited role!), Alan Mowbray, and Gilda Gray NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the caption at the bottom of this card reads, "Go ahead, Rose Marie -- give it to 'em -- and make 'em like it!". Condition: very good to fine. water stains in three of the corners and some light scuffs in the title box at lower left (to the right of the "e" of "Marie" and the area between "Metro" and "Goldwyn"; a few other faint scuffs in the other border areas; The image area of the card is in very nice condition! The colors are bright and the card has a crisp feel to it. The water defects would disappear if the card were framed, or any talented restorer could surely improve the appearance of the borders without touching the image area, and the card would look great!
