eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 6m0369 LOT OF 12 FORMERLY TRI-FOLDED SINGLE-SIDED 27X41 DR. JEKYLL'S DUNGEON OF DEATH ONE-SHEETS 1982 Date Sold 5/12/2024Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 12 formerly tri-folded single-sided 27x41 one-sheets from Dr. Jekyll's Dungeon of Death, the 1982 James Wood horror thriller ("Dr. Jekyll is a sadistic evil terrifying madman, you'll love him!"; "The blood & violence will haunt your nightmares forever!"; "Written by James Mathers"; "based on an original story by Robert Louis Stevenson") starring James Mathers (in the title role as Dr. Jekyll), John Kearney, Nadine Kalmes, Dawn Carver Kelly, and Tom Nickelson. Note that we suspect this movie was VERY loosely based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" (although it has been a long time since we read that story, but we have no memory of a bunch of naked female vampires!). Also note that the poster artist for the U.S. poster "lifted" the exact concept of this image from a 1975 French poster for a movie called "Lips of Blood"! IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them! These one-sheets were tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold). Because sending tri-folded one-sheets in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", would cost much more than sending them rolled in a tube, we have opened these and they will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. We have only pictured one of the posters, but all of them are in similar condition. See the one that we pictured to get a sense of the condition of all the posters.
