Traffic/Blue Cheer/Iron Butterfly, the 1968 rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music poster ("Bill Graham Presents in New York") promoting a concert held featuring Traffic, Blue Cheer, and Iron Butterfly which took place at the Fillmore East in New York, New York on April 26th, 1968. Note that this poster features wild art by David Byrd! This was his first concert poster for Bill Graham. He admitted that he was "flying blind," and the design was his interpretation of "... what they were doing in San Francisco"! Also note that the Fillmore East was a short-lived venue on Second Avenue, open from March 1968 to June 1971. In spite of its short run, it featured some of the biggest acts in rock music!
