The Land Unknown, the 1957 Virgil Vogel science fiction (sci-fi) dinosaur jungle fantasy adventure thriller ("Behind A Barrier Of Antarctic Ice... A Paradise of Hidden Terrors!"; "In the vast heart of Antarctica! Science's greatest adventure! Mysterious jungle terrors! Primitive struggle for survival!") starring Jock Mahoney, Shirley Patterson (billed as "Shawn Smith"), William Reynolds, Henry Brandon, Phil Harvey, and Douglas Kennedy

Important Added Info: Note that this Italian locandina measures approximately 13" x 27" and is linenbacked.

Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).

There is a tack stamp just below the image and a few tears and pinholes around the edges of the poster. The person who restored the poster did a good job of touching up the above basically minor defects. Overall, the poster looks nice, and the restoration is only noticeable from inches away.
