Zanuck"; about an orphan who becomes a doctor at the royal court, and he is witness to many romances and royal intrigue) starring Jean Simmons, Victor Mature, Gene Tierney, Michael Wilding, Bella Darvi, Peter Ustinov, Edmund Purdom (in the title role "as 'The Egyptian'"), Judith Evelyn, Henry Daniell, John Carradine, Carl Benton Reid, Tommy Rettig, and Anitra Stevens NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had some creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. It had a 4" diagonal tear in the red background below the "Y" of the title, slightly touching the bottom of the letter. It had pinholes and some paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
