He managed the Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Braves, New York Yankees and at the end of his career, the newly created New York Mets, who were among the worst baseball teams ever! He was an eight-time World Series champion (both the New York Mets and New York Yankees retired his uniform number #37), and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966. He passed away in 1975 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this baseball has been personally autographed (signed) by Casey Stengel, and that it is in a plastic case!
