If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had creases across the horizontal fold and some faint horizontal creases and scuffs down the center of the poster. There were some creases, smudges, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster, and some smudges in the yellow background areas. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed. The restorer chose to paint over much of the blank white borders (except for the small writing at bottom) to "even them out", but did pretty minimal restoration to the image, not wanting to give the poster a "heavily restored" look, and I think they did a great job, because the poster's above described defects are not at all distracting from any reasonable viewing distance, and it looks fantastic!
