Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a tear running from Heston's nose diagonally down through Brynner's chest and ending in the middle horizontal fold. There was also a 3" vertical tear in the left of Heston's hair. There was also a 5" tear in the middle of the left border, extending into the left edge of Heston's robe. There was small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. There were pinholes and smudges around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
