He is probably best remembered for his starring role in Ray Harryhausen's "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad". Some of his film roles include: The 3 Worlds of Gulliver, Jack the Giant Killer, Man on a String, Panic in Bangkok, and Nightmare in Blood (his last film role). Note that Kerwin was gay, and we can't find any reference to him being "closeted" or it having any impact on his career, an amazing feat considering the time of his acting career! He passed away in 2007 at the age of 81. He was survived by his partner of 46 years, Tom Nicoll. Important Added Info: Note that this comic book has been personally autographed (signed) by Kerwin Mathews! Our consignor was a personal friend of Mr. Mathews and obtained this autograph in person at his home. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic.
