Some of her movies include: Tales of the City, The Apartment, and The Best Man. She was also a Broadway actress, and she is remembered for being the widow of Ernie Kovacs. After his death in a tragic car accident, he owed the IRS hundreds of thousands of dollars (he didn't believe in taxes, and simply refused to pay!), and she insisted on paying it off, working in TV commercials (she was the spokesperson for Muriel Cigars for 19 years!). She passed away in 2008 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Edie Adams! Note that our consignor purchased this autographed item (together with many others from the estate of the late Gino Emprey, who was a Toronto based agent and event promoter. He was entertainment director of the Royal York Hotel in Toronto for many years, and during that time, he became friendly with many celebrities, and they personally signed items for him, often personalizing them to him.
